To all the people both young and old who have Cystic Fibrosis thank you for your support over the last 10 months.We are 19 days away from the first marathon from Port Douglas to Palm Cove Surf Club and I do feel nervous because of injuries I have not been able to complete the best training. However I do feel better than I have ever,one thing on my side is there is no certain time frame to do the 42 km As long as I can manage my knee and foot issues my times should get better the longer we go....

To big for there boots.

Suspended for 30 days without any form of appeal Facebook Facebook well guys keep following the up coming walk/jog.
I wonder when they had just a few members would they have been so gun ho at peoples involvement with new friends.Too big Too big ! they need to understand that times and technology change as mobile phone companies are finding battling fo market place share.We had radio we had black and white TV we had calculators all gone face book.

LJ Hooker Port Douglas.

Let me say a huge thank you to LJ Hookers in Port Douglas who have organised a walk- a- thon on the 29th September the day before we set off on the jog.

Re-invention and Age.

One of the challnges that I struggle with is the belief that it is possibe to re-invent myself at 68.Why re-invent you say?
Sadly we discover as we age that the business community place very little value on the elderly.So at 68 and relatively fit I wonder what my life experiences are worth and how they can help others.
The problem is lifes knocks have dented my confidence and I feel like a deer caught in the headlights of a speeding car,frozen not knowing which direction to move in.
